Chris Lee is a dance teacher for Cuban salsa and was born in Germany near Stuttgart with German and English roots. With great passion for music and dance, he came to Vienna in 2013 to study saxophone at the "University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna" and finished his Bachelor of Instrumental Education in 2018 and his Diploma in Music and Philosophy / Psychology. In addition to being a dancer and saxophonist, he writes and produces songs in style of Soul, RnB and Latin. Already at a young age, Chris made himself known as an Irish tap dancer and was also influenced by hip-hop, which is also reflected in his Cuban salsa style. With some prior knowledge of salsa, he met , the dance scene in Vienna in the first year of his studies through which he developed a certain inclination to Cuban rhythms. Participation in workshop courses by well-known Cuban dancers such as Maykel Fonts, Yoannis Tamayo and Yoandy Villaurrutia finally led him to become a dance instructor himself and teach at several studios in Vienna. His talents are reflected not only in the aesthetics of his dancing, but also in having a well-trained, musical ear. He has created his own style and choreographies to share his inspiration for Cuban dances with other people. Footwork and leading as well as the awareness of music are his main topics when it comes to dancing.
